Now in it's 6th incarnation, the site has changed its face yet again. Originally the name was used for a personal blog for our webmaster Ataraxia, to help keep in touch with friends abroad. Soon after it was used to house a gaming review and news site project, which while slightly successful, proved too time consuming without outside funding available, and drew to a stagnant placeholder for many weeks to come. The site has now had a major reboot with support from many close friends. Pooling our resources, knowledge and thirst for retro gaming classics, the site has become an abandonware / classics repository. Reviews of old games, arcade games, video game music, and much more. We endeavour to be the best abandonware site around, with articles focusing on helping readers to collect retro consoles, games and gear, or to get their old broken systems and outdated games working again.
